Six miles beyond the entry gate to Canyonlands Park Island In The Sky, down the White Rim Road (Shafer Trail) there's a short foot trail that leads to the Gooseneck Overlook of the Colorado River. The road you see at the top of the cliff above the river is the Potash Road to Moab. High above it is Dead Horse Point Overlook.
