Our destination, and where we turned around, Devils Causeway is named for this ridge at 11,800 feet which brings chills to those who are afraid of heights. Just beyond Ron B. is a narrow section of rocky ridge with steep drops on both sides. Crossing it requires good balance and no fear. It affords the opportunity to return to Stillwater Reservoir via a different route. Someday I hope to provide photos from the other side. Until then, we'll turn back and return the way we came, as planned.
