This quiet spot along the recreation path next to the Colorado River is about midway through the 12 mile Glenwood Canyon. The I-70 freeway goes through Glenwood Canyon, about 160 miles west of Denver. But along this section it's in a tunnel through the canyon wall on the south side of the river. This is a nice quiet place to stop, rest and enjoy the view; whether you're traveling on the freeway, riding your bike along the recreation trail or finishing a hike to nearby Hanging Lake.
