Midway through the 16 mile Glenwood Canyon is this quiet spot next to the Colorado River on the recreation path. The I-70 freeway goes through the canyon but is not present here because it's in a tunnel through the canyon wall on the south side of the river. The trail to Hanging Lake is near here. It's a nice spot to stop, rest and enjoy the view; whether you're traveling on the freeway, riding your bike along the recreation trail or finishing a hike to Hanging Lake.
