Near the southern tip of the Eagles Nest Wilderness is 12,522 foot Uneva Peak, upper left. The easiest way to reach the mountain is from the top of Vail Pass along I-70. From there it is about a two hour hike to reach the summit. We're looking roughly northeast toward Buffalo Mountain near center and the Continental Divide in the distance.
