This photo, taken in summer of 1980, is of what would become Beaver Creek Resort. Nowadays, the base area at the bottom of the freshly cut ski runs at center is a mass of condo buildings. The foreground hillside on the right is covered with multi-million dollar homes. At lower left is the golf course. In a recent photo this view would be almost unrecognizable.
