This is the view of Salt Creek Canyon from the Colorado River Overlook in The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park, Utah. The overlook can be reached in a heavy duty, very high clearance four wheel drive vehicle. It was too rough for my Subaru Forester so I drove to within a couple of miles and walked the rest of the way.
