Here's a photo of upper Tuhare Lake in Holy Cross Wilderness. It's a four hour hike from the trailhead to reach this spot. When I first arrived, a fisherman was pulling a 20 inch fish out of the water. He and his buddy were so excited they didn't notice me standing nearby for 10 minutes. Fish so large are almost unheard of in alpine lakes like this above 12,300 feet.
