This is the Eagle River just below the confluence with Gore Creek at Dowd Junction near Vail, Colorado. The river is bordered by train tracks on one side and by Highway 6 and I-70 on the other. There's also a bicycle path through here which affords the opportunity to enjoy views of the river at your leisure.
