The Deluge Creek Trail begins in East Vail, Colorado at about 8300 feet above sea level. The first couple of miles of the trail are very steep and difficult, although not technical. The trail eventually climbs more than 3000 feet to Deluge Lake at about 11,700 feet. The last mile of the trail offers awesome views in every direction; some of the best anywhere.
