This panorama was captured on the fourth of July. My tripod was set just a few hundred steps below Deluge Lake at 11,700 feet in the heart of the Eagles Nest Wilderness. The lake was still half frozen so I stepped back a bit in order to capture more of the tops of the surrounding peaks. Getting to this spot requires a hike of about three hours.
