You can't see Lake Dillon from the very top (12,498 feet) of Ptarmigan Peak so I moved a couple hundred yards south to shoot this panorama and show the lake. It is a relatively flat mountain top with great views of Ten Mile Range, south; Gore Range, west; Williams Fork Mountains, north; and Continental Divide, east. It's reached via Ptarmigan Peak Trail beginning in Silverthorne, Colorado.
