Benchmark Ridge above Mongolia Bowl on Vail Mountain

Near the eastern boundary of the Vail Ski Area, a platter lift pulls you to about 11,600 feet, the highest of the lift served terrain on the mountain. From there, I climbed another 150 feet to Benchmark Ridge for this panorama. From here you can see the Gore Range, north; Copper Mountain Resort and the Ten Mile Range, southeast; the Sawatch Range, southwest; and portions of Beaver Creek Resort, west.
