Here at 10,700 feet along Booth Creek on June 3 there is still a lot snow. In the summer, this is a wetland area. It's fairly level here and the swollen creek dampens a wide area. A few weeks later all the snow in this area is gone and plants begin to thrive in the wetlands. More from the trail
