Canyon Rim Trail in Colorado National Monument begins at the visitor center and follows the cliff edge above Wedding Canyon. The views from the trail of the sandstone rock formations and cliffs is fantastic. At the end of the trail hikers see a nice view to the north of Fruita, Colorado, the Colorado River and the Book Cliffs. It's an easy trail of about a half mile in each direction. There are severe drops so those with small children or a fear of heights, be advised. More from Colorado National Monument
